Why not use the regular Excel export instead of data only–then the guidelines method will work. If you have column headers, set the location of the left of the subreport to be the same as the column header that it is under.

The Excel exports in Crystal are really picky about formatting.
Its a bit of a hack, but it works. What ever would be the same DATA in each of your data sources.

You can try to place the subreport in the details section then go to section experts, select details and check “Format with multiple columns”. Monday, March 5, witj I’ve tried several different export formats – all do something similar. HI Ya I need a solution to this as well. I think my solution is inevitablly going to come from the sql that generates the data for these reports, by forcing it to return the same number of rows for all three sub-reports instead of null values where data may not exist in one.
In the main report, set the location of the top of the subreport to subrsport the same as other data on the line. In the subreport, suppress all sections except the one that contains your data.
